I am a PhD student in the Computer Science Department here at Stevens Institute of Technology. I am currently preparing my thesis proposal, which aims at providing a process-oriented support and an efficient management for the Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) Processes. Inspired by the work of Process Programming and Process-Centered Software Engineering Environments (PCSEEs), the proposed KDD support environment includes a KDD Process Modeling Language (KDDPML) and a run-time system for enacting the KDD processes (process programs written in KDDPML). My advisors are Prof. Dan Duchamp and Prof. Carl Krapp (a co-advisor from the industry).
