Welcome to the web site for submitting applications for tenure-track faculty positions in the Department of Computer Science at Stevens Institute of Technology.
See the job advertisement here.Review of applications will begin December 1, 2009 and continue until the positions are filled.
This web site allows you to submit your application via a web-based form. You will be asked to provide your name and contact information, particularly your email. You will also be asked to supply a password. A login account will be created for you using your email as userid, and the password that you provided to control access. You will subsequently be able to log back into the system to upload updated versions of your materials.
As part of submitting your application, you will be asked to provide three PDF or TEXT files:
- Your curriculum vitae. This should include the names and contact information for three references. It should also contain links to your most important publications, which should be available via the Web.
- A statement of your research interests.
- A statement of your teaching interests.
At the moment, we can accept documents in PDF or TEXT format only. We cannot accept Word or RTF format documents. You can generate PDF from Word documents using Acrobat Distiller. If you do not have access to Distiller, you may alternatively use Open Office to export PDF from Word or RTF documents. Another alternative is to upload the Word or RTF files to Google Documents, and then save them as PDF. LaTeX users should use pdflatex to generate PDF rather than DVI, or use epstopdf to generate PDF from Postscript.
If you have all of the information and documents you need to upload your application, then you should proceed to the next step and submit your application.
If you have already uploaded your application, then you may review and update your application by logging back into the system using the email and password you provided when you originally applied.
Please ask your referees to send letters directly to the computer science department, without our contacting them. Information on how to provide letters of reference is available here.
