    Syllabus
You will need to write Scheme programs. To download Dr Scheme, go to Dr Scheme

    The manual is:
    Dr Scheme Manual
Also, DrScheme has a great Help facility. Use it.

To access DrScheme from a remote machine running X-Windows, try:
    ssh -X lab.cs.stevens.edu

If you have a Windows machine, it is easiest to download DrScheme.

Grading policy: homework 25%, quizzes 25%, final 50%. (If you know it by the end, you know it.)

Class attendance is required; we will lower your course grade as punishment for repeated absence. Every examination will specifically include questions about lecture material not contained in the textbooks as well as about material from the book. You will not be excused from an examination unless you: (1) provide documentary proof of illness, or, (2) demonstrate in advance, to our satisfaction, that unusual circumstances will prevent you from taking the examination. No makeup examinations are given in the event of unexcused absence or poor performance, but one missed examination will be dropped from the course average.
