I am a 5th-year PhD student in Stevens Institute of Technology, looking for job. My advisors are Prof. H. Quynh Dinh and Prof. Philippos Mordohai. I got BS and MS from Nanjing University, China. Then I worked in Lucent Technologies for 3 years and tasted some projects in wireless communication before came to Stevens.

| Automate Operational Fault Detection - Multi-Sector (OFD-MS) Threshold Setting Process |
Aug.2005 - Nov.2006 |
OFD is a suite of software capabilities to monitor operations of the cell. It uses customer traffic to determine the operational health of a cell. OFD-MS is the principal OFD feature that detects hard faults on cell/sector/carrier. It needs to use some thresholds when determine if a fault is occuring or not. Originally, these thresholds are set by customer. It's a time-consuming work. With this feature, OFD-MS can automatically set the thresholds based on the statistical data. |
With this feature, some new input commands and output reports need to be added into Technician Interface (TI) subsystem to maintain the new function of OFD-MS. My work was to finish the design, coding and development unit testing (DUT) of TI subsystem for this feature. |
| Capability to run Traffic Processing Unit - Command Line Interface (TPU-CLI) commands on Mobility Manager TI-CLI |
Feb.2005 - Nov.2005 |
This feature is for integration of TPU-CLI with MM TI-CLI. This will allow TPU-CLI to be accessable from any TI-CLI interface. |
My work was to finish the design, coding and DUT of TI subsystem for this feature. |
| Cell Operations, Administration & Maintenance (OA&M) Convergence for Mixed Networks |
Jul.2004 - Jun.2005 |
This feature is to develop a fully integrated fault and configuration management interface for cell equipment in mixed networks that contain EV-DO only cells, CDMA only cells, and mixed EV-DO/CDMA cells. This interface will allow customers to more easily manage their mixed data/voice network. |
TI is a very important part to provide such convergence interface. With DO convergence, the CDMA TI input commands will remain unchanged, and some new DO TI input commands will be added. And some new DO output reports will be added to support this feature. My work was to finish the design, coding and DUT of TI subsystem for this feature. |
| Automatic Message Accounting (AMA) Migration |
Aug.2003 - Jun.2005 |
This feature is to relocate the AMA consolidation, storage, and management functionality from the Executive Cellular Processor (ECP) platform to the Flexent Mobility Manager (FMM) servers. |
The AMA Migration feature was a long-lead feature spanning multiple releases and included substatial changes to input commands and output reports related to AMA. My work was to finish the design, coding and DUT of TI subsystem for this feature. |

| VHDrawings |
Nov.2001 - Jul.2003 |
VHDrawings is a CAD drawing management solution for any architectural and civil engineering design environment that works on DWG/DXF format CAD drawings. It applies a unique artificial intelligent drawing pattern recognition technology to automatically extract text information from CAD drawing files and store in a database. The system can then use the database to efficiently manage the drawing files. In order to enhance design team collaboration, the VHDrawings solution applies latest network technology to link all team members to a central server with hierarchy access rights, so that design process can be automated and streamlined. |
My work was developing the interface module between client and server, the module of saving and geting DWG file from database using multithread method, the module of project plan management and the module of auto-recognizing the content of DWG file. |
The VHDrawings1.0 was published in 2002. For project introduction, please refer to http://www.vhsoft.com/ |
| VHDocument |
Sep.2000 - Oct.2001 |
VHDocument is a workflow-based document management system. It uses client/server pattern and COM/DCOM technology. It allows organizations to standardize and streamline time-consuming, people-based activities and track their progress. |
My work is writing requirement analysis specification, designing the construction of the software and realizing some modules. |
